Your private charter takes you on the spectacular drive south from Lhasa across the Karo La Pass at 5,010 meters with panoramic views of the snow-capped Nyenchen Tanglha mountain range. Stop as long as you like at the stunning turquoise Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three holy lakes. Continue past the massive Karola Glacier to Gyantse to visit the Kumbum Stupa before arriving in Shigatse.

Early morning wake-up call to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Everest north face. As the first rays of sunlight hit the highest peak on Earth the mountain glows in shades of gold, orange, and pink creating an unforgettable spectacle. After a hot breakfast at the EBC guesthouse your charter takes you via the scenic northern route through the vast Tibetan steppe to sacred Namtso Lake at 4,718 meters. Watch the sunset over the turquoise waters of Heaven Lake with the snow-capped Nyenchen Tanglha mountains in the background reflecting on the lake surface. Overnight at lakeside guesthouse.

Morning at Namtso Lake for a final walk along the pristine turquoise shoreline of the sacred lake at 4,718 meters altitude. Take in the spiritual atmosphere and capture last photographs of the brilliant turquoise waters against the snow-capped Nyenchen Tanglha mountains. Your charter driver will then take you back to Lhasa via the Nyenchen Tanglha Pass at 4,600 meters offering spectacular mountain views along the way. The drive takes approximately 5 hours. Arrive in Lhasa by late afternoon and check into your hotel. The evening is free to explore Barkhor Street for souvenir shopping or enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Tibetan restaurant serving momos dumplings and thukpa noodle soup.

After breakfast at your hotel, your charter driver will transfer you to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for your departure flight. You have seen the magnificent Tashilhunpo Monastery, stood at the foot of Mount Everest, and visited the sacred turquoise Namtso Lake in just six days with the complete freedom of your own private charter vehicle.
